CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

Frederick Isasi, executive director, Families USA

"We had a wonderful experience working with Gisele as a consultant with our media staff. She provided terrific expert and strategic advice that was directly relevant to our needs. Gisele also was incredibly professional; established and met her deadlines; dealt with staff issues with aplomb; and provided me, as executive director, with just the right level of engagement and information. I enthusiastically recommend Gisele as an expert communications consultant."

THE CHALLENGE

Media Relations Assessment and Planning

Assess current media relations activities and produce a strategic plan to:

  • Help speed and expand the impacts of Families USA projects.

  • Inspire journalists to tell Families USA's story to its target audiences.

  • Fulfill the requirements of some grants for qualitative and quantitative news coverage of the programs they fund.

  • Help strengthen Families USA's position as a national thought leader for achieving high-quality, comprehensive and affordable health care for all in America.

  • Reaffirm Families USA's executive director as a thought leader of  health care value, equity, coverage and consumer engagement.

Communications Planning & Messaging for Oral Health for All Campaign

During a critical 3-4 month critical window of opportunity following the election of President Biden, I was tasked with boosting advocacy communications efforts on Capitol Hill for Families USA's Oral Health for All Campaign. The program calls for expanding access to oral health care coverage to Medicare, (which currently excludes dental care), and improving states’ Medicaid adult oral health coverage.
